Studio Conventions: How Pages Are Formatted
Studio tools follow consistent formatting conventions for page size, fonts, and answer key layout.
Consistent formatting
All Studio tools follow the same formatting conventions so pages look clean and professional on paper and on screen.
Page size
Pages are formatted for standard letter-size paper (8.5 x 11 inches) with half-inch margins. This works with any standard printer.
Fonts
The default body font is Andika, a typeface designed for early readers and literacy. The easy-read option switches to Atkinson Hyperlegible for improved readability. Large print increases the font size for accessibility.
Answer key layout
Answer keys use the same layout as the student page, with the correct answer shown in place of the blank. This makes it easy to grade by placing the answer key next to the student page.
Headers and footers
Pages include a header with the tool name and a footer with the page number. You can add a custom title and class name before printing.
